Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Sharons Credit Union is seeking a skilled and well organized Member Service Representative. The successful candidate will have professional member service skills, excellent communication skills in both English and Korean, and a passion for assisting business and personal members in achieving our financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processes financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, foreign current exchange and cheque cashing, using banking systems and cash- dispensing machines.
• Recognizes member needs and promotes and cross-sells credit union deposit products and service to members by explaining and referring more complex requests for information and assistance to senior staff.
• Processes account opening, maintenance and other administrative tasks.
• Receives and refers incoming calls and emails to individual staff members and departments.
• Greets visitors, responds to enquiries on basic credit union products and services, identifies additional information needs and directs members to appropriate areas of the branch for further assistance, books appointments.
• Produces routine documents including letters, standard branch documents and basic reports, as per policy and procedures, and operations manuals.
Qualifications:
• Bilingual: Fluency in both Korean and English
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Time management, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
• Ability to use MS-Officer suites
