We are searching for a highly motivated Machine Operator (Softgel, Tablet, and Hard Capsule) based in our head office and manufacturing plant located in Burnaby, B.C.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Machine Operators to join our team in the production of health foods, specifically softgels, tablets, and hard capsules. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of our products.

Responsibilities:

l  Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including softgel encapsulation machines, tablet presses, and capsule filling machines.

l  Set up machinery according to product specifications, ensuring proper settings for dosages, fillings, and machine speed.

l  Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

l  Monitor the production process, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and output efficiency.

l  Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specified standards and regulations.

l  Troubleshoot equipment issues, resolve minor mechanical problems, and escalate complex issues to the maintenance team.

l  Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

l  Record production data, including quantities produced, machine downtime, and any issues encountered.

l  Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

l  Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

 

Qualifications:

 

l  High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.

l  Proven experience as a Machine Operator in the production of softgels, tablets, or hard capsules.

l  Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting softgel encapsulation machines, tablet presses, or capsule filling machines is highly desired.

l  Strong technical skills and the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and specifications.

l  Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.

l  Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

l  Basic understanding of quality control principles and experience in conducting inspections and quality checks.

l  Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Work Condition:

l  Job Type: Full time (Monday – Friday:  07:00 AM ~ 03:30 PM)

l  Wage: from $21 an hour (Applicable in case of experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QA/QC Associate for tablets, hard capsules, softgels production. In this role, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure the highest level of product quality. Your primary focus will be on tablets, hard capsules, softgels production, including all stages from raw materials to finished products.

Responsibilities:

l  Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards.

l  Conduct sensory evaluations, physical inspections, and chemical tests to identify any deviations from quality parameters.

l  Document inspection results and findings accurately, maintaining detailed records for future reference and analysis.

l  Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions when necessary.

l  Assist in the investigation of quality-related incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, identifying root causes and proposing solutions.

l  Develop, maintain, monitor, and enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the manufacturing process.

l  Support the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and ensure its accuracy for reliable results.

l  Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

l  Provide training and guidance to production team members on quality procedures and practices.

l  Assist in conducting internal audits to assess compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

 

l  Experience with electronic document management systems and quality management software is a plus.

The Manufacturing Team Member plays a crucial role in our manufacturing facility, responsible for assisting in the production of health food products, specifically focusing on softgel, tablet, or hard capsule production. This position involves working as part of a team to ensure efficient and accurate production while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·            Softgel manufacturing experience (including melting and machine operation) is preferred.
