Job description
- Import, post, and reconcile Bank and Credit Card statements into QB online
- Validate and process supplier invoice and ensure completeness of transactions
- Manage and prepare AR, AP and payroll (including T4 slips and payroll remittance)
- Organizing financial records and documents
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Prepare journal entries and other adjusting entries
- Reconcile intercompany loan balance and transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements through QB online
- Prepare and submit all government remittances (PST, GST, payroll remittance, WorkSafe BC & EHT)
- Prepare the year end documents for external accountant
- Able to handle 4 to 5 employees’ HR records
All other duties as required

Job Description
- Responsible for monthly / quarterly / annual COGS month end close and reporting
- Perform analysis of COGS transactions and provide insights on inventory, direct and indirect costs
- Support reporting requirements for funding and government credits (SR&ED, grants, etc)
- Support new product development with analysis and product P&L
- Perform annual standard cost update and manage standard cost
- Prepare month-end reconciliation reports and journal entries related to COGS
- Update and set up BOMs to reflect changes in raw materials and new products formulation
- Recommend and drive continuous improvement projects
- Complete special projects and other duties as required

- Verify dimensions using caliper or rule
- Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to from a complete unit
- Sand products using sander or sandpaper
- Stain or coat products with lacquer or varnish
- Set products out to dry
- Operate specialized pieces of woodworking machinery
- Work to preserve antiques
- Design and create sets of cabinets that are customized for particular spaces
- Create wooden accents and trim
- Create scale models of products or buildings that are used in construction
- Construct dies used in castings
- Complete all stages of woodworking process
- Ensure wood is not warped, cracked, or swollen
- Repair wooden furniture, cabinets, and other wood products
- Apply paint to raw wood
